Value

We have been students of the concept of value for probably over 10 years now. It is such an over used term and missunderstood term. We have found that almost every discipline, funtion or industry that speaks and writes about it brings their own particular bias to it. Of course it is a massively broad topic and something that we could never explain on this page, but we do want to share some of what we have learned in how to think about it. Below is a model that captures many of the familiar value terms and provide our guide as to how to think about value from a business perspective (not from a personal, company or cultural perspective).

Hi Patrick,

Even though we had the value negotiations workshop near two years back, I still remember those two compact, professional, enlighthening yet very enjoyable days. Techniques and approach and mentality learnt there enabled me to manage the closure of a major account with such success that both the customer and our VP prasied us, providing the opportunity to reengage the customer on other areas.

Best regards,
